• Annual prize distribution is held on 22 Feb 2010.Honb'l  Mr P.K Senapati (ADM) has inaugurated the Function.

• Mini Cultural meet was held on 11 th Feb in our Vidyalaya.These are the following prize winners

• Students attended Excursion cum study tour in BBSR admiring Dhauli,the shanti stup,Regional Science Center,the state museum and the Hanuman Mandir at pipili at last where they enjoyed prasad along with the blessing from Jai Hanuman.The Primary student went on 7.1.10 & secondary student went on 8.1.10.

• Grand Parents day was celebrated on 27^th Nov inside the Vidyalaya campus. Sri U.C. Panda retired Principal was the chief guest for the Celebration . Near about 275 grand parents had attended  the  function. Guests and invitees were greeted with rose bud.  News letter of Primary section was unveiled by the Chief guest.  A cheques of 29300 was given to Helpage India on behalf of the Vidyalaya.

   
• 80 students including 45 NCC cadet of KV,Puri parasating held on 21.11.09 at Talabania ground being organized by National Adventure Foundation ,Orissa chapter
• NCC Day was celebrated on 22nd Nov 2009 in the Vidyalaya.
• Regional social science exhibition was held on 12-10-09 to 13-10-09 Dr E Prabhakar ,Assistant Commissioner of KVS ,Regional Office Bhubaneswar was the chief guest.
• School level Social Science Exhibition was held on 05.10.09.Hon'bl Principal  Mr. S.K Behura  inaugurate the program.

•  VMC meeting is held on 18.8.09 at confference hall.

• Ms Sushri Satyarupa,Sabari Satyarupa,Master Abhijeet ,Master Pulak Debashish is selected for National Chess Compition.

•  Principal Conference (Gr-I & Gr-II) of Bhubaneswar Region was held on 22-07-09 to 24-07-09.58 principals have attended the      

            program which was organised in Holiday Resort by K.V Puri.

•     3 days inservice course for PGT/TGT of Kendriya Vidyalaya of Orissa state was  held on 26th April to 28th April 2009.

      Shri S.K Behura(Principal KV puri )was the venue Director and Course Director of Biology, Shri C.P Kumaran Principal , K.V No.

      Bolangir was the course director of Eng, Shri S.P Sarangi Principal,K.V Keonjhar was the course director of Computer Science,

     Shri A.K Bhatt Vice Principal ,K.V Bandamunda was the course director of Hindi and Sanskrit and Shri VVAB Murthy was the course  

     director of Maths,Physics,Science.

• NCC cadets of K.V Puri repaired the damaged and uneven road near the level crossing on 09.04.09.

• World Health Day is Celebrated on 6-04-09. MR. B.M Parida (TGT ENG) has given  speech .Two students have also presented their views on this day.

• New session 2009-10 started on 1 April 2009 at 6.50 am.

• Inaguration of the induction course by Mr.S.K Behura,Principal of K.V Puri, Mrs A.Acharya ,HM and Resourse person.Group Formation subject/Topic Assignment/General Discussion was done.Computer teaching by Mrs.A.Acharya,H.M.At the end of the session group Activities was taken place .
• On 17-03-09 the day started with Yoga /Pranayam.Demonsration class was taken by Mrs A.Acharya,H.M . Demo  

          lesson on  Science in Primary classes was given by M.K Chaturvedy,PGT(Physics).Think.com by Mrs A.Acharya H.M

          & Mrs M.Nath  PGT(COMP) and  Group activity by the participants.

• On 18-03-09 the day started with Yoga/Pranayam . Demo lesson on effective teaching of EVS in Primary classes by Shri P.Panda ,TGT (Sst).  Demo lesson on effective teaching of Mathematics in Primary classes by Shri KVG,Rao ,PGT(Maths) .Demo given by participant followed by interaction.Group Activity,  Maths Model  /Collage colour by number by Mrs. A.Acharya. H.M ,RP .Activities on  style of spelling by Mrs A.Acharya  ,H.M , RP

• On 19.03-09 the day started with Yoga  /Pranayam  ,Communicative skill in Primary Classes was taken by Smt A. Acharya  H.m  ,RP Demonstration by Participant (Group Mahanadi) , Demonstration by  Participant  (Group  Godavari),Language Creative  writing by Mrs.Acharya   , Collection of Question Papers /Correction & rewriting-  submission .,Activity on Mathematics  Class-1  ,UBC - Games songs  By Mrs A. Acharya ,H.M  RP & Group  Leaders.

• On 20-03-09 the day started with yoga/Pranayam.Demonstration by Narmada Group-followed by interaction.Demo  lesson given by  Dr.Manjushree Satpathy,Reader in Physchology Govt.Women's College,Puri.Puzzle,breaking of the class monitor-tounge twister and language game for the project is given by Mrs.A. Acharya,HM,RP.Strengthening of Primary Education,Grading system of exam by Mrs A.Acharya,H.M,RP followed by post test/feedback and valedictory Function.

• Five days induction course for newly recruit PRT post  is held  on 16-03-09.40 participants are participated in this program.The program is started with a warm welcome to all the participants.  Mrs A. Acharya is the recourse person.  

• Mr. L.B Sinha ( Drawing Teacher)  is retired on 28-02-09. 

• Guide Troop got first position in the  dist level parade at Saradhabali Puri on 26-1-09.

• NCC Cadets appeared the 'A' Certificate exam on 19th & 20th Jan 09 .

• Annual sports 2008-09 was held on 16th and 17th jan 09.

• Study tour cum community  lunch was held on 4-2-09 .450 students of preprimary and primary participated in the tour at light house,Konark.

• More than 375 students of secondary and Sr. Secondary were participated in the study tour on 13.2.09 to planetorium ,Regional Museum of Natural History and Shikharchand Temple,Bhubanuswar.

• Kumari Adyashree Mohanty of class IX participated in the SGFI in chess under 17(Girls) at Guntur (Andhra Pradesh) fron 13th to 17 th Feb '09

• Three Students,Chandan Panda-VI B,Sipta Prangyan Champatray-VIII B ,Eliza Tripathy -X B have received  gold  medal in science Olympiad 2008-09.

•   VMC MEETING:

          1st VMC meeting in the session 2008-09 was held on 29 -11-08 in K.V Puri.

          The Agenda  Items are as Follows:

             a) Receiving the Chairmam,VMC by the Principal & Member Secratary. 

             b) Welcome address by the principal and Member Secratary followed by self introduction of members.

             c) Brief account of academic and non academic programme of the Vidyalaya by the Principal.

             d) Review of last VMC resolution and follow up action taken by the Vidyalaya.

             e) Discussion on fresh proposal suggetions by the chairman.

             f) Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

             g) Vote of Thanks by the Teacher Representative.
